Politique de confidentialité — extension Quest2Offer
This policy describes how the Quest2Offer Vacancy Analyzer Chrome extension handles data. If you only use the quest2offer.ai website (no extension), see the general privacy policy.
1. What the extension reads
The extension is idle until you click "Analyze" in its popup. Only then does it read the visible text of the current tab once (using Chrome's standard activeTab + scripting APIs) and send it to our server. There is no background tracking of tabs or history — the extension does not request the tabs, history or cookies permission.
2. What is sent to Quest2Offer
When you click "Analyze" the extension sends to https://quest2offer.ai:
- the current page URL and vacancy title;
- the extracted job text;
- a source identifier (e.g.
linkedin,hh); - your long-lived access token, granted to the extension when you signed in.
This data is processed inside your personal Quest2Offer account exactly as if you had pasted the job text manually on the site.
3. What is stored locally in the browser
Via chrome.storage.local the extension stores on your device:
- the access token (tied to your Quest2Offer account);
- your chosen UI language;
- settings preferences (e.g. server base URL for developers).
None of this leaves your device automatically, and it is wiped when you uninstall the extension or click "Sign out" in settings.
4. What we DON'T do
- We do not collect browsing history, search queries or the content of other tabs.
- We do not share your data with third parties and show no ads.
- We do not use analytics, fingerprint trackers or third-party SDKs.
- We do not sell data.
5. Deleting data
Uninstall the extension: chrome://extensions/ → "Remove". Its local data disappears with it. To delete server-side data (analyzed vacancies, your account): go to quest2offer.ai/en/profile → "Delete account", or email quest2offer@gmail.com.
6. Contact
Privacy questions: quest2offer@gmail.com.
7. Changes
If our data handling changes we will update this page and bump the extension version. This document applies to version 1.0.0.
